The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus is our Patriotic arm, building on our principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. Membership in the Fourth Degree is required if you would like to join the Color Corps, but Color Corps membership is not mandatory to participate in our ongoing patriotic duties.
To join the Fourth Degree, you must be an existing Third Degree member in good standing with your Council. While we directly support seven councils, we have members from many other councils who call Butler home or have ties to our area. To join the Third Degree, get started at kofc.org. If you are an active Third Degree Member, contact us or your Grand Knight or Financial Secretary for a Form 4.
Like other degrees, you must attend a Fourth Degree Exemplification of the Patriotic Degree. These are held multiple times yearly in our District (Pennsylvania West) in Calvert Province.
